Institute's scientists take an active part in preparation of bioengineering programe students. The institute together with VGTU has also founded the third level studies - doctoral studies. The Institute has an Educational Genetic Engineering Laboratory, supplied with modern equipment, necessary for teaching students according to up to date level.
Scientists of the Institute participate actively in training process at university. At present, researchers having significant scientific achievements give lectures and lead practical courses. Each year at the Institute bachelors and masters degree projects are completed by bioengineering programe students.
